«Towards a professionally managed energy sector»
ZESS is a four year sector support aimed at transforming the energy sector on Zanzibar, and setting it on a path towards sustainability. The Project is financed by the Government of Sweden, and will run untill 2020. Its objectives are to;
The program is implemented with expert support from the two consulting companies Multiconsult AS of Norway, and PWC.
The total contribution to the programme is 54 million Swedish Kronor, out of these Sweden will contribute equivalent to TZS 11.3 Billion (47 million SEK) and RGoZ will contribute equivalent to TZS 1.7 Billion (7 million SEK).
